Family History
Matt Staniszewski is a lifelong resident of Washington County. Staniszewski comes from three generations of local steel and mine workers throughout Washington County. Staniszewski's family instilled the valuable lessons of a strong work ethic and "rolling up your sleeves" to get the job done right. The majority of Staniszewski's family has roots living in Strabane and Canonsburg. Matt's father, David Staniszewski, grew up on Tannehill Street (right off of Pitt Street) in Canonsburg. Staniszewski is related to the Gromacki, Rybacki and Dellorso families as well as former Mayor Caruso of Canonsburg.
